Female Grey Seal with new born pup
A trip to Horsey beach during the last part of the year can give an amazing experience of seeing Grey Seals giving birth to their young, many hundreds can gather on a few Norfolk beaches. Wardens are on patrol to stop people getting too close, the seals welfare should be respected at all times, and they can give surprising bursts of speed towards the unwary individual, should they venture too close.
